According to the decision of the Government of RM to declare electricity crisis situation and take a few preventive measures for maintenance of the stability and safety of the electro energetic system of the country, following the recommendations to the Municipalities in the state, Municipality of Stip notifies the citizens of Stip for the following actions taken.

Tomorrow, (Tuesday, 14^th of February 2012) will be made new pacing timers to include the street lighting. According to it, the street lighting will be turned on in 6 o’clock in the afternoon and will be off at 3 o’clock in the morning. By the reprogramming of the timers, the Municipality of Stip will provide electricity savings from the street lighting of 4 hours per day, because not the street lighting is turned on from 17 and is off at 6 in the morning.

We ask the citizens to be careful and cautious, especially in the period after 3 o’clock in the morning, to watch and avoid every possible consequence. The decision which is brought is in the interest of all the citizens and according to the directions of the Government for saving electricity and its rational spending.

Also, the Municipality of Stip appeals to all the private legal entities, if they have the possibility to accept and turn off the light commercials and other illuminating bodies for which they consider that will not disrupt the work and thus contribute to saving electricity.
